How much does a website (or project) cost?
The cost depends on the scope of the project, and I prefer to give you an accurate quote rather than a broad guess. I typically work in three ways: a fixed project budget with clearly defined phases and upfront estimates, hourly billing for open-ended work, or a maintenance package with a fixed monthly fee at a reduced rate. If you tell me what you need, I can put together a scope and recommend the best approach.
Do you use templates or page builders?
No. My websites are custom designed and hand coded to fit your business and goals. I do not rely on generic themes, bulky page builders, or one-size-fits-all solutions.
Who actually does the work?
I do. I personally handle the design, development, hosting, and support. All work is done by me here in California, so you are never passed off to a junior developer or an overseas team.
Do you outsource overseas?
No. All work is completed by me in California. That is a core part of what makes Angry Sam Productions different.
I'm not technical. Will I be able to keep up?
Absolutely. Most of my clients don't have technical backgrounds, and that is completely fine. Part of my job is explaining complex topics in plain English and handling the details so you do not have to worry about them.
Can you take over a site someone else built?
Usually, yes. I can review your existing website or application and give you an honest recommendation on whether it makes the most sense to keep it, improve it, or rebuild it.
What do you build with?
I build custom front ends using Javascript, SCSS/CSS, and HTML that are hand coded, accessible, and SEO ready, along with modern back ends using ColdFusion (CFML), ColdBox, and Microsoft SQL Server. When needed, I also build REST APIs and integrations to connect your systems and streamline your workflow.
Do you offer hosting, and what makes yours different?
Yes. I offer managed and monitored hosting on infrastructure that I personally maintain and optimize. That means your site is patched, backed up, and actively monitored, and when something needs attention, you are dealing directly with me.
Do you do the invisible stuff, APIs, integrations, tracking?
Yes. That is actually some of my favorite work. I regularly build REST APIs, connect third-party systems, and set up reliable analytics and server-side conversion tracking.
Do you work with clients outside California?
Yes. I work with clients wherever they are located. The work is done here in California, but the relationship can work from anywhere.
